On arrival in Bangalore, we leave for Mysore (145 km) en-route Srirangapatna (Dariya Daulat Bagh, Gumbaz, Tippu Fort, and Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple). On arrival, you shall complete the check-in process. After freshening up, you leave for places of Tourist interest around Mysore. Overnight Stay at Mysore.
Mysore…Mysore (or Mysuru), a city in India’s southwestern Karnataka state, was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1399 to 1947. In its center is the wealthy Mysore Palace, the Seat of the former governing Wodeyar dynasty. The palace balances Hindu, Islamic, Gothic, and Rajput styles. Mysore is also home to the hundreds of-year-old Devaraja Market, filled with spices, silk, and sandalwood.
Srirangapatna is a town and among the seven Talukas of Mandya district in the State of Karnataka. Situated near the city of Mysore, it is of religious, cultural, and historical importance. Mysore Palace, publicly known as Mysuru Palace, is a historical palace and the royal house. It is the current residence of the Wadiyar dynasty and the Seat of the Kingdom of Mysore. This monument is in the middle of Mysore and faces the Chamundi Hills eastward. Illuminated Brindavan Gardens The Brindavan Gardens is a garden located 12 k.ms from the city of Mysore in the Mandya District of the Indian State of Karnataka. It lies touching the Krishnarajasagara Dam, constructed across the river Kaveri. The work on placing this garden was started in 1927 and completed in 1932.

Chamundi Hill Named after the Goddess Chamundi, the Chamundeshwari Temple sits atop the prominent hill. The central hill features an ancient stone stairway of 1,008 steps leading to its summit. Approximately halfway to the summit is the statue of bull Nandi, the vahana, or “vehicle” of Lord Shiva, which is 4.9 m tall and 7.6 m long and carved out of a single piece of black granite. Around this point, the steps become significantly less steep, and eventually, the climber is rewarded with a panoramic view of the city. Mysore Zoo is a 157-acre zoo positioned near the palace in Mysore. It is one of India’s first and most famous zoos and is home to a wide range of species. Mysore Zoo is one of Mysore’s most essential attractions.
St. Philomena Church is a Catholic church that is the church of the Diocese of Mysore. The complete name is the Cathedral of St. Joseph and St. Philomena. It is also known as St. Joseph’s Cathedral. Devraja Market Don’t miss out on Devraja Market, one of India’s most colorful and lively bazaars, Built during Tipu Sultan’s time.

Coorg, also known as Kodagu, is a rural district in Karnataka. In the north, Madikeri Fort has 2 life-size elephant statues at its entrance, plus a Gothic-style church with a museum on its grounds. Nearby, the Hindu Omkareshwara Temple dates back to the 19th century. Further north is the domed Raja’s Tomb, a burial place of Kodava kings, and cascading Abbi Falls.
Dubare… Elephant Camp is a jungle camp on the banks of the river Kaveri in the district Kodagu, Karnataka. It is a significant base for the Karnataka Forest Department’s elephants. Tibetan Golden Temple, The Namdroling Nyingmapa Monastery, is the largest teaching center of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism in the world. Nisargdhama Kaveri Nisargadhama is an isle estuary by local people, formed by the river Kaveri near Kushalnagar in the Kodagu, Karnataka.

Talacauvery Temple Sri Cauvery, popularly known and adored from time immemorial by the Hindus as ‘Dakshina Ganga,’ the Ganga of the South, is one of the most sacred seven rivers in India. Bhagamandala Temple of Skanda Purana, a holy text belonging to the Hindu religion, mentions the temple and its fable. As per the legend, Bhaganda Kshetra, the olden name of Bhagamandala, a famous saint Sri Bhaganda Maharshi used to stay in his ashram located at this place. The name Bhagamandala has also been derived from the sage’s name. Omkareshwara Temple Located in Madikeri, built in the Muhammadan style of architecture consisting of a dome in the center. It was made in 1820 by King Lingarajendra II as penance. Abbey Falls, also called Abbi Falls, was initially named Jessy Falls. When they visited Abbey Falls, the first British reverend of Coorg fell in love with its unparalleled beauty. He then dedicated and named the waterfall Jessy falls after his daughter’s name. Raja’s Seat is a garden of floras and fountains. It is one of the popular attractions for tourists in Madikeri.

Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, Bangalore, India, is a constituent unit of the National Council of Science Museums, Ministry of Culture of India. It was recognized in the memory of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya. With a built-up area of 4,000 m², the building was constructed in Cubbon Park. ISKON temple Sri Radha Krishna-Chandra Temple is one of the largest Krishna Hindu temples globally, affiliated with the ISKCON Revival Movement. It is located at Rajajinagar, in North Bangalore, in the Indian State of Karnataka.
