Overview:
Recognized as the ‘Land of Snow & Mountains’, Himachal Pradesh is a veritable paradise, with verdant valleys surrounded by snow-clad peaks. Dense forests, rivers flowing placidly in the valleys, glaciers and high altitude lakes are some of the things that enhances its natural beauty. Undoubtedly, the ‘Himalayan Jewel’ has always been the tourist’s delight. This tour is complemented by Amritsar. This one place showcases entire Punjab. Its religious traditions, Culture, Cuisines and fertile land.
In this 10 days tour, we will first visit Amritsar followed by Dalhousie, Dharamshala and Kullu Manali. On our itinerary, our first halt will be Amritsar – a legendary destination. Our tour representative will lead you to the Wagah Border, where you will get an opportunity to see the Change of Guard Ceremony. Way ahead, we will visit the Golden Temple and the Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar. As we arrive at Dalhousie, you would undoubtedly get enchanted with the setup of the beautiful colonial town. Khajjiar or Mini Switzerland is the next place where you can indulge in adventure-packed activities. On our itinerary, we will further cover Chamba where you will be delighted to see Mini Kailash and a few temples. On our way, you will be able to admire the mesmerizing surroundings at the Chamera Dam View Point. While we are at Dharamshala, the Dalai Lama monastery, the cricket ground and a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. After we arrive at Kullu, we will spend our time at a campsite along the banks of the river Beas. We will also head for a 7 km rafting expedition all the way through the Kullu valley. At Manali, you can have a marvellous time playing with snow at the Rohtang Pass and cherish memories like never before in the Solang valley.
With this tour, you can surely enjoy the bullock cart and the tractor ride at Amritsar. Not just that, you will also savour various cuisines for meals to your heart’s content. At Kullu, you will also be spending time around a bonfire along with people singing and dancing.

On Arrival in Amritsar Airport / Amritsar Railway station. You will be received by a member of our local team. Or an appointed driver who will take care of your transfer and check-in at the hotel. Amritsar – a historic city, founded in 1577 by the fourth Sikh guru, Guru Ram Das. Later we leave for Wagah Border to watch the Change of Guard ceremony at Wagah Border followed by a dinner at the famous Sarhad Restaurant of local cuisines of Punjab.

Rise and shine at early hours to visit the most symbolic– the Golden Temple, also known as Harmandir Sahib. One of the most eminent gurudwaras in the world and the holiest shrine for the Sikhs. After spending some time enjoying the tranquillity of the temple, you head straight to the langar (world’s most enormous community kitchen). Here thousands are fed every day and have a free delicious meal. Then head off to Jallianwala Bagh, another must-visit historical place in Amritsar. An eternal reminder of one of the most emotional chapters in India’s freedom fight, Jallianwala Bagh is at a walking distance from Golden Temple. Next, we pamper ourselves in village farm experience. Where you indulge in the Bullock Cart Ride, Tractor Ride, some hands-on experiences, followed by the pleasant Walking Tour of the Farm and Dairy Farm.
Later we proceed to Dalhousie – tiny tinsel town spread across five hills near the Dhaulandhar mountain range in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Upon arrival, we have free time for relaxing and explore the surrounding of this beautiful colonial town. On arrival, check into the hotel. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure. It’s delightful just having a leisurely stroll around Subhash Chowk.
Today after a visit of Ajit Singh Smarak – a memorial dedicated to revolutionary nationalist Ajit Singh, we proceed to Khajjiar – A Mini Switzerland, quite a punch in terms of adventure, nature, wildlife and culture. Here adventure lovers can experience thrilling activities like zorbing, paragliding. Next place on our list is Chamba, where we get an opportunity to view enchanting Mani Mahesh Mountain Range popularly called as Mini Kailash. On arrival in Chamba, we visit Lakshmi Narayan Temple – built in the 10th century known for its architecture and Chamundi Devi Temple – dedicated to Goddess Kali. Later we drive back to Dalhousie. On the way, we enjoy beautiful vistas of Ravi River and enjoy a mesmerizing view of surroundings from Chamera Dam View Point. IN the evening return to Dalhousie. Overnight Dalhousie.

After an early breakfast, check out and drive to Dharamshala – the holy abode of his holiness, the Dalai Lama. On arrival, check into the hotel. You will get some good time for lunch and rest. The evening is for some available experiences. You can have a leisurely stroll around Mcleodganj, which is dotted with several cafes that serve delicious local and international cuisine, and beverages. You can definitely gorge on delicious Tibetan food.
After breakfast, the rest of the day to explore Dharamshala. Our first stop will be at Dalai Lama Monastery. A Serene Temple complex recognized for its ornamental facade, vibrant prayer halls & mountain locale. Next place of visit is Bhagsu nag Temple – An ancient temple where Lord Shiva had conquered himself. We won’t miss Dharamshala Cricket Ground – a scenic cricket stadium with the backdrop of snow-capped mountains and lush green hills. Rest of the day for shopping and exploration action of Mcleodganj Bazaar.

Today you can start your day with some experience of the trek uphill. You will have to rise at early hours to visit Chembra Peak at an altitude of 2100 mts. The trek uphill begins modestly along tea plantations, And it takes 2 – 4 hours going up the peak, but naturally, it depends on your fitness. After approx. 45 mins to 1 hr from the starting point, with the gaped mouth, you stand on the banks of The heart-shaped pond, laid carefully on a bed of crispy green meadow. If you don’t want to reach the peak further, no worries. This place in itself is an epitome of enchantment, rewarding the visitors with a visual feast. Later start your return journey to your hotel for lunch and some time for rest. Later you leave for Soochipara waterfalls. Soochipara waterfalls is 3-tiered powerful waterfalls situated in the dense equatorial forest of Wayanad. In the evening, a leisurely stroll around the market shall be an enjoyable experience.
After enjoying light breakfast, leave for the starting point of the rafting expedition, a 7 km experience, which takes about 35 to 45 minutes to complete. Later head back to Campsite for freshening up and check out. We start our journey for Manali, which will be of around one hour fifteen minutes. Manali is the most popular hill station among st the Indian tourist and most of the honeymooner’s first choice. On arrival, check into the hotel. rest of the day is just to relax and unwind.
After leisurely breakfast, it is time to begin your traditional Manali Tour. Where we shall visit the famous Hadimba Devi Temple. This temple worships Hadimba Devi, wife of mighty valiant Bhima, from the Hindu epic Mahabharata. After spending some leisurely time at this scenic place, head to the Vashisht Kund, Tibetan Monastery and handicraft centre. You can also take a walk around the Vashisht village.

Today you will be experiencing the fun and beauty at Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass. While Solang Valley is famous for zorbing and paragliding, Rohtang Pass is perfect for playing with snow and skiing. Rest of the evening at leisure or enjoy a leisurely walk on the mall road.
