PWPL is delighted to introduce its new tour to Rajasthan. This 16-day itinerary showcases astounding wildlife and distinctive culture of Rajasthan. The culture of this region is complemented by its magnificent setting of rugged mountains and picture-perfect villages. The tour begins with a week for famous wildlife & Bird sanctuaries, like Sariska, Ranthambore & Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. And rest of the tour time is complemented by the experience of rural Rajasthan. These sites are often set in superb landscapes. They are supplemented by the fantastic experience of local traditions, Food, art & craft.
The itinerary includes several days of scenic car/coach touring and some jeep safaris. There are some car/coach journeys on winding roads, and the tour program includes nine different types of stays.
Fitness and stamina of a reasonable level are required to enjoy this tour. However, the pace of the tour is well managed, giving you ample time to relax and enjoy the cultural and natural beauty of these regions.

On arrival in Delhi Airport / Railway station. A member of our local team will receive you. Or an appointed driver who will take care of your transfer and check-in at the hotel. Later we embark on a bus for a tour of Lutyens New Delhi with a professional guide. We shall drive through this nicely planned quarter of the city, which is known for architecturally essential structures like the Parliament, Rashtrapati Bhavan and India Gate. We shall return to the hotel after watching the sunset at the Qutb Complex, which is home to the Qutab Minar – the tallest minaret in India and the Iron Pillar, one of the wonders of India.
Stay: Delhi.
Proceed for Jaipur by Jaipur Exp. at 1030 hrs from Sawai Madhopur. Arrival at Jaipur by 1300 hrs. Transfer and check into the hotel. After lunch relaxes for a while and then visit the City Palace complex which includes the Sawai Mansingh Museum with its excellent collections of rare manuscripts and miniature paintings, Mubarak Mahal and the Armoury. Next stop will be for the centuries-old world’s largest sundial at Jantar Mantar. Evening back to the hotel.
After breakfast, we start our day with a visit to Sariska Tiger Reserve. It stretches over an area of 880 square kilometre covering cliffs, mountains, dry deciduous forests, grasslands and others. It is popular for sightings of animals & Bird. Other than Tigers, sambhar, rhesus macaque, jungle cats, wild boar have a sizeable population. It’s home to many lovely birds like crested serpent eagles, harbour quails, sand grouse and others.
After Jeep safari in the park, its time to explore Alwar. Your guide will take around some of the important places. Alwar Fort, Alwar City Palace, Siliserh Lake & Moosi Maharani Ki Chhatri. In the evening back to the hotel in Alwar.
After leisurely breakfast, check out and start your journey for Bharatpur. Arrive and transfer to the resort. Post lunch is the time to explore Keoladeo National Park, popularly known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. It is the most significant Bird sanctuary of India with hundreds of species. It comprises of woodlands, swamps, wetlands, dry grasslands and others. Apart from the 350+ local species, you can find thousands of migratory birds that visit during winter. There are four options to scale the park, on foot, rent a bicycle, Rent cycle rickshaw and a horse carriage. The best time to visit this park is from August to November to see the resident birds and from October to February to get the view of migratory birds.
This evening is for a stroll around this lovely natural bliss before going to bed.
Rise and shine at early hours to hear the chiming of birds in the Keoladeo Ghana National Park. After breakfast, the rest of the day to explore this wonderful bird sanctuary.

Rise and shine at early hours to hear the chiming of birds in the Keoladeo Ghana National Park. After an early breakfast, its time to explore this wonderful bird sanctuary. Post lunch, leave for Ranthambore National Park. After a drive of 5 to 6 hrs, you reach the park & check into the hotel/resort. Overnight stay at Ranthambore National Park.
Ranthambore… Ranthambore National Park with an area of 1,334 km2 hosts deciduous forests and wildlife such as Bengal tiger, Indian leopard, nilgai, wild boar, sambar, striped hyena, sloth bear, southern plains grey langur, rhesus macaque, mugger crocodile and chital. July to September park remains closed.
Other landmarks include the 10th-century Ranthambore Fort, on the hilltop, the Ganesh Mandir temple and Padam Talao Lake, which is known for its wealth of water lilies.

After an early breakfast, embark upon a safari in your quest to spot the majestic Bengal tiger. Post lunch you get some good time to rest. And after that, You have the rest of the evening free to discover Ranakpur at your leisure.

Early next morning leave for Bijaipur. En-route, please take a brief halt at Bundi, famous for its medieval fort. After a short orientation tour of the town, proceed for Ranthambore. On arrival check in to the hotel/homestay, post-lunch leave for village safari around Bijaipur… a rocky area majorly covered by green fields and forests. After seeing the pretty terrain of Bijaipur, return to your hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Deogarh. On the way, we halt at the must-visit landmark, Chittorgarh Fort. The Chittor Fort is one of the most massive forts in India and is on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. It was the capital of Mewar and is located in the present-day town of Chittor. It sprawls over a hill 180 meter in height spread over an area of 280 hactor. It is situated above the plains of the valley drained by the river Berach. During the guided tour of this fort, you see Ranakumbha Palace, Meera Mandir, Vijay Stambha and Padmini’s Palace.
Later drive to Deogarh, the main landmark is Deogarh Mahal, built in the 17th century and now converted into a heritage hotel. On arrival, check-in Deogarh Mahal. Rest of the day to relax and unwind within the royal ambience.

After breakfast, Receive a tour of this small village from a local guide and learn about a villagers performing their day to day activities. Watch women around a common well fetching water, washing clothes and carrying water in a beautiful clay pot on their heads. See the site of a group of people sitting under some tree shades or in courtyards discussing everything from the politics to the local domestic topics. Also, watch different artisans like textile workers, potters, cobblers, carpenter & craftsmen on their work. The highlight of the stay in Deogarh is the local train ride from Deogad to Phulod through a wooded hill section. It is a memorable part of the tour, down a mountainous ghat section with the panoramic views of the scrub jungle, hills, tunnels, 100-foot high bridges and remote one-person stations. In the evening, return to your palace.

Today morning after sumptuous breakfast, leave for Narlai… surrounded by the natural setting with old mountain ranges of Aravalli. This is another village visit where you will get a close sense of the rural Rajasthan. Here your stay will be in a heritage hotel snuggled in the village, busy with activity and overflowing with colours. After freshen up you’ll visit a rural school. You’ll have an opportunity to mingle with the children and teachers of the school. Next stop will be at Adinath Temple, Jain Temple, located at the specific entrance of the rural area of Narlai.
After hefty breakfast leave for a day-long excursion tour to Ranakpur & Kumbhalgarh. It is a combination of some trekking & driving. You shall walk through the fantastic forests and hills, where there are excellent chances of catching the sight of wildlife. On arrival in Ranakpur visit the eminent Jain temple, preserved since 15th century. It is a structure of unmatched elegance and filigreed symmetry. The Ranakpur Temple is notable all across the world for its intense architecture and was chosen amongst the 77 wonders of the world. Next stop will be at mighty Kumbalgarh Fort. It is one of the highest points in the Aravalli range. Kumbhalgarh Fort complexes are one of the largest fort complexes in the whole world and the second-largest fort in India, after the Chittorgarh Fort. In the evening return to Narlai.
This morning, after breakfast, drive to Siana… a less explored, off the beaten track destination. On arrival, check into your small, but an elegant hotel, known for their hospitality. After authentic Rajasthani lunch, you will get some good time for rest. Later in the evening, you will on the jeep safari know for the Panther sightings. Overnight stay in Siana.
After breakfast you will receive another village walk with a local expert. Siyana carpentry culture is well known, and the neighbouring village of Rabari community is known for traditional shepherds. You will get an opportunity to visit carpenter’s house to watch the skilled carpentry works. And drive across the dry river bed will take you to the traditional shepherds’ Rabari community – Rabari. of this region. Later once again take a chance to see the big cat at twilight and after safari return to your stay—overnight in Siana.
Early next morning leave for Udaipur… Founded in 1559, by Maharana Udai Singh II and was the former capital of Mewar region. Popularly called the “City of Lakes” and located in the fertile, circular Girwa Valley. In Comparison to Jaipur, this city is peaceful and serene. On arrival, check into the hotel/heritage home. Rest of the day for a relaxed city orientation tour. Watching the famous Lake Palace, situated in the middle of Lake Pichola, is one of the most pleasant experience. Udaipur is home to the second-largest man-made sweet water lake in Asia, called Jaisamand Lake. The fantastic City Palace and Monsoon Palace are known for the architectural exquisiteness and magnificence. Solar observatory in Lake Fateh Sagar is also worth for a stop. Conclude your last day of this tour with a tranquil boat ride experience on Lake Pichola with a view of setting sun and a dinner in one of the popular haweli top restaurant with a fantastic idea.
This incredible wildlife and cultural tour conclude today. After a relaxed breakfast, check out and leave for the Airport/train station. Tour concludes.
